There’s a touch of the Sussex coast in this cheerful drawing on a tactile and painterly jug. I often walk from East Dean to Birling Gap on the East Sussex coast near my home in Eastbourne, and this barn is inspired by one I see on that walk. There are sometimes tall ships out at sea, which are probably training vessels. 9.5 cm h x 8.5 cm w.
