The circular shape of this bowl, decorated on both the inside and the outside, plays with the idea of inside and outside the harbour. One ship is safe in the harbour, and the other on the outside of the bowl, is being guided in by the lighthouse. Layers of slips, underglazes and oxides give a deep rich colour to the bowl and it delights from a range of angles. 
 
This generous bowl is 27cm diameter and 10 cm high.
