Hand made on the potters wheel from Red Earthenware clay with sgraffito slip decoration. The image is scratched through the upper layer of white clay revealing the red beneath. I am inspired by the work of mid century British painters. There is a definate Midcentury feel to this pedestal bowl  with a lovely depth to the layers of slip and glaze on the sea area. This pedestal bowl is 17 cm high and 14 cm diameter.
