Tea Clipper Jar Vase

£120.00

1 in stock

The form of this vase is based on a tobacco jar made by my great great grandfather who was a sailor on the tea clippers. It is hand thrown from red earthenware clay and painted with slips, underglazes and oxides with the colours built up in layers.

A map of the world is overlaid with a beautiful tea clipper. This can be used as a vase, but is equally beautiful as a an art object.

9cm w x 14 cm high.
